The story
Mercy has a price.
When a God-fearing marshal investigates a deadly frontier killing, conflicting evidence and a mysterious bounty hunter draw him into a violent pursuit that forces him to choose between his moral convictions and the violence required to survive.
Official Synopsis
After a deadly gunfight leaves a trail of unanswered questions, U.S. Marshal Wesley Foster is sent to investigate the destruction of the McCarthy homestead and the mysterious family feud connected to it. What begins as a routine pursuit soon unravels into a web of conflicting testimonies, buried secrets, and long-held grievances, forcing Foster to confront a truth far more complicated than the law can easily judge.
As hidden motives and painful truths begin to surface, Foster finds himself caught between his unwavering moral convictions and the brutality required to carry out American justice. Framed through a confession and steeped in themes of generational revenge, faith, and redemption, God and a Gun explores the cost of mercy, the burden of righteousness, and whether grace can endure in a world where every act of violence leaves a scar behind.
